Spotlessly clean, excellent bathrooms, shower pressure, beds and air-con. Cool, modern design. Check in was smooth and seamless. It is a bit no frills in the sense that you literally just get your room and some towels and soap/shampoo in a dispenser- no hygene kits, dressing gowns or bottled water in the room. But I don't care much about those things personally. I thought it was good for the price. We got connecting rooms for ourselves and our two children and we were very pleased. The signposts in the airport in Lyon are extremely poor so it was not easy to find the hotel but we manage with google maps. We stayed at Moxy so we could pick up our hire care in the airport the next day. Again - very poorly signposted. The car hire place is around a 20 min walk from the hotel or a free shuttle but we were not aware that the shuttle was available. Its also not that easy to get from the airport area into town - it was a 45 min uber ride or Rhone Express which apparently is not cheap.

What a wonderful start to our holiday. We arrived late at night, so this was the perfect one night stay avoiding the hassle to travel in the evening in an unfamiliar area .The hotel is very modern, loved all the little details especially the sweet msg written on the mirror. Although the hotel is located close by to the airport runway, the rooms are soundproofed therefore we didn't have any noise issues. We were delighted with our stay at Moxy hotel. ☺️ This hotel is definitely an eye catcher when it comes to interior design from the entrance to the lobby and the hotel rooms.

Very convenient being in Lyon airport. The facilities were excellent. My husband and I particularly like the ping-pong table and games. We got a free drink on arrival, there were free teas and coffees in the foyer for you to help yourself with movies playing. We had a look round the gym which was well equipped. The room was very clean, with excellent shampoo and conditioner, comfy bed and we even got upgraded to a room over the runway. Luckily the windows were sound proof. Overall an excellent stay and I will use again.

The convenience of staying at the airport as we had an early flight the next morning, and that worked out well. We had a runway view room which was fabulous to watch all the planes. The hotel is ultra modern and a bit quirky, we weren't expecting that so it was great. Also having a bar and restaurant on site and open on a Sunday night was very convenient. Also the staff speak English, although we don't need them too it could be useful for other Brits or Americans.
